A focus on reducing disease from asbestos containing materials through administrative and legal means.
The presentations and facilitated discussions will inform and provide for a recommitment by participating countries of the importance of a legislative/regulatory framework to address appropriate management, controls, and impacts of asbestos containing materials in the environment within Pacific Island Countries.
GOAL: Reduce disease from ACM
OBJECTIVE: Inform, persuade, and get recommitment by participating countries of the importance of a legislative/regulatory framework within each country to address impacts of ACM in the environment.
