Event Date - Nov 25, 2019 National Education and Awareness Capacity Development Workshop
Participants from Pacific island countries are invited to the PacWastePlus programme National Education and Awareness Plan (NEAPs) Capacity Development workshop from 25 -27 November 2019 in Nadi, Fiji. The intent of the training is build the capacity for the participants to guide the development of NEAPs to support the local implementation of the programme, and the associated national initiatives to promote and encourage positive changes in waste practices.

NEAPs is a key mechanism for countries to enable effective engagement and dialogue with stakeholders in their country as the programme is implemented locally.
Countries represented at the workshop are from the Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.
